About me

I’m a geologist from Bologna, Italy. I landed in Austin TX in 2012 as an exchange student during my Master’s, and I’ve been studying geology at the University of Texas since then.

In the past years I cultivated several interests – perhaps too many! – sometimes related to my studies and research work. I’m self-teaching electronic circuit design, mostly to make tools for amateur radio. I’m a co-founder of a major Italian geocaching website, and I like gardening and growing vegetables in my backyard.
